2024 Success Stories
Highflier Anna Marie has soared to new heights by achieving an outstanding A*A*A* in Psychology, English Literature and Sociology. She is excited to advance her studies in Psychology at King’s College London, with aspirations of becoming a psychological wellbeing practitioner.
“Over the past seven years at La Sainte Union, I have received endless support from my teachers, who are always available to provide invaluable tips and guidance tailored to my learning style. I encourage younger students to never give up! Keep pushing through because the end result is absolutely worth it. It may seem daunting at first, but you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. La Sainte Union fosters a genuine sense of community, and it is clear that teachers care deeply about their students' success. I want to extend special thanks to Mr Beavis for his consistent guidance in English Literature; I feel I have truly perfected my essay writing skills which will stand me in good stead for university!”
Niamh has flourished during her seven years at La Sainte Union,, and we are all very proud to see her confirm her place at the prestigious University of Oxford, a testament to her academic prowess. She will read Law after obtaining a phenomenal A*A*A in Chemistry, Economics and Maths.

High achiever Cosima is looking forward to taking a gap year before applying to study Chemistry at university. With an astonishing set of A*A*A* grades in Chemistry, Maths and Spanish, we know she has a bright future ahead.

Rose has proven to be a bright spark, achieving a remarkable A*A*A* in Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science. She is excited to start her next chapter at the University of Warwick to study Computer Science.
“The Maths Department is outstanding here at La Sainte Union. They cater to our different learning styles and work at our individual pace, making it a truly personalised experience. Our Tutors also provided heaps of advice on our subjects, UCAS applications and future career options. My advice to younger students is to pay attention in Year 12, engage with your peers, and seek help from your teachers when you need it! I would definitely recommend La Sainte Union and LaSAWAP; the Sixth Form offers an extensive selection of subjects, allowing you to tailor your studies to your interests. Plus, you are given lots of privileges as well as the independence and freedom to take charge of your learning.”
Jessica’s extraordinary results of A*A*A* in Biology, Maths and Chemistry have paved the way for her acceptance at King’s College London to study Dentistry. She credits the fantastic Careers Department for guiding her through the university application process and providing mock interview practice and personal statement workshops that helped build her confidence.
“I have really enjoyed being taught by amazing, supportive teachers who have aided my success at La Sainte Union. I have enjoyed enriching experiences, such as a trip to the V&A museum during Year 12 and setting up a Dentistry and Medicine club in Year 13, which helped engage younger students. A highlight for me was winning multiple awards in my subjects.”
Isobel is incredibly thankful to her exceptional teachers at La Sainte Union for helping her to achieve an exceptional A*A*A in History, Politics and English. She is off to the University of Sheffield to read English and History in September.

Maegan not only attained an impressive A*AA in her A Level Business Studies, Media Studies and Art, but also an A in her Extended Project Qualification. She is delighted to accept her place at King’s College London to read Culture, Media and Creative Industries.

Augusta is off to the University of Birmingham to study Mathematics after attaining a fantastic AAA in Maths, Further Maths and Classical Civilisation.

Marianne’s ambition to become an A&E Nurse is now within reach after she achieved D*DD in BTEC Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care and secured a place to study Adult Nursing at City, University of London.

Deborah was delighted to open her results to reveal she secured D*DD in her BTEC Extended Diploma in Business, as well as a place at Queen Mary University of London to study Business Management.

Having attained DDD in her BTEC Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care, Kheira is seeking a degree apprenticeship placement to gain practical experience that will build on her academic learning. She aspires to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a nurse in the future.

Megan is delighted to have achieved DDD in her BTEC Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care course, and to have secured a place at the University of Leicester to study Nursing with Leadership.
