School Uniform
All pupils in years 7 to 11 are expected to wear the regulation uniform. This uniform is intended to be worn both to and from school as well as in school. When travelling to and from school, pupils still represent the school, so the highest uniform standards are required. In all matters of uniform, the final judgement rests with the school.
Stevensons supply our school uniform. Items can be purchased from their website www.stevensons.co.uk or by phone (sales: 01727 853262).Stevensons orders made online can be delivered at and collected from school. The cut off for orders being placed is 2pm on Monday. Orders will be delivered to the school on Wednesdays, please ensure you add the student's name.
Stevensons also run regular sales at school which are advertised on the school website and in family bulletins, in advance.
Compulsory items for years 7-11
Items which must be purchased from Stevensons or from our second-hand store (in school):
- The La Sainte Union tartan kilt – knee length or mid-calf only OR the La Sainte Union green trousers.
- The green V-neck jumper with house colour trim (compulsory for winter)
- The La Sainte Union green blazer with school badge (compulsory at Key Stage 3)
Items which can be purchased from any supplier:
- White shirt for winter or white blouse for summer
- Flat plain black shoes (no logos and no canvas shoes)
- Plain black tights or plain white socks
- A dark green coat
Scarves, gloves and hats for winter must be plain dark green, black, white or grey.
For pupils who, for religious reasons, wish to cover their heads in school, the head covering must be plain dark green, black, white or grey and worn without any decoration.
HAIR REGULATIONS
Hair should be kept neat and tidy. Unnatural colours for hair are not permitted. Long hair should be tied back with a plain hair tie for PE, science and technology lessons.
PE KIT
Items which must be purchased from Stevensons or from our second-hand store (in school):
- The La Sainte Union Polo shirt (black/emerald with badge)
- The La Sainte Union PE jacket (black/emerald with badge)
- The black Academy tapered pants
Items which can be purchased from any supplier:
- White socks
- Trainers
Optional items:
- Plain black PE skirt or shorts
- The PE T-shirt (black/emerald from Stevensons)
- The PE Midlayer (black/emerald from Stevensons)
JEWELLERY
A wristwatch may be worn at the owner’s risk. Smartwatches are not permitted. Small stud earrings (one per lobe) may be worn. No other piercings are allowed. No rings, chains or necklaces are allowed. Acrylic/false nails or nail varnish are not permitted. Discreet makeup is only permitted in years 10 and 11.
