Governors (ID 1018)
Pierre AndrewsLocal Authority Governor
I am a governor at this school because I believe that every individual deserves the best chances of success in life, and that is what La Sainte Union strives to deliver.
Tina JoyceFoundation Governor
Tina JoyceI am a Governor at this school because I wish to see every student thrive, achieve and develop into a caring and kind citizen.I currently work as a Medical Officer in a school in Buckinghamshire and enjoy the role. I have worked as a Metropolitan Police Schools Officer at LSU for several years prior to my retirement in 2017 from 28 years of Policing in Camden. My years working in this school was the most enjoyable of my policing career. I enjoyed building good relationships with the school community and ensuring attendance was high. In my role as a Governor, I wish to see young people flourish and develop as responsible citizens and achieve their goals in life.
Susan MacqueenFoundation Governor
Working in the NHS as a paediatric nurse taught me to understand the child, their family and the culture they live in. I have been a Foundation Governor at LSU since 2016 and Chair of Governors since 2020. My learning curve has been steep but I have found kindred spirits in the teachers and staff of the school. They care about the same things as me; preparing young people to succeed in the tough world they live in. So at LSU we listen, we care and they achieve.
Joe SimpsonFoundation Governor
I am a governor at this school because LSU aims to give girls the best chance to live full independent lives whilst also recognising we live in an interdependent world.
Ammar AmirkhiziCo-opted Governor
I believe wholeheartedly in giving back to the community, this, coupled with wanting to help build a better future for my daughter brought me to the decision to join LSU as a Co-opted Governor in September 2021. I look to draw upon my experience in FP&A/Commercial Finance and help contribute to LSU's Governance.
Charmaine DaleyFoundation Governor
I am a governor at this school because I believe that LSU supports the girls to become confident, strong young ladies with no doubt about what they can achieve.
Calisha AllenFoundation Governor

Tracey AnsahParent Governor

Roann EtanFoundation Governor
I spent almost four years as a school governor at a local primary school in Brent so I know too well the unique position this appointment holds in ensuring that the best outcomes are achieved for our girls at La Sainte Union. I believe that the LSU management team and the governing body have a shared commitment in ensuring that first and foremost the school offer valuable experiences to all the girls and so I look forward to supporting and contributing towards their efforts.
I am a HR professional and a member of the Chartered Institute. I am self-directed with comprehensive accomplishments in leading digital workforce transformation, people strategy, recruiting, employee engagement and working in cross-functional teams to ensure success and achieve goals.
I am an innovative thinker with a diverse industry (public and private) background. I am passionate about people and have a real commitment to self-improvement and contributing to improving social mobility by building a diverse inclusive workforce wherever I am given the opportunity.
Katerina NomicosParent Governor
By becoming a governor I plan to provide support to bridge the existing gap between the market and education and thus help our young people to realise their talents and materialise their dreams.
As the Headteacher, I work very closely with governors to ensure that the school is true to its Charism and that every student at La Sainte Union is safe, happy, and achieves their very best.
I joined the school in 2009 and became the Headteacher in 2017. Leading La Sainte Union is very rewarding: the staff are committed and the students are a joy to teach.
I am proud of the diversity of our school, of the values we instil in our students and of the warm relationships which we foster. Our students grow into confident, ethical and articulate young women who will go on to positively impact their local community and the world around them.
