Message from Mrs S. Fegan, Headteacher

La Sainte Union is a Roman Catholic School, with the core aim of developing young people in the values of the Gospel. All staff must have a commitment to a culture of mutual respect and to building a community at La Sainte Union. All staff are expected to support our Catholic ethos, regardless of their religious beliefs. This involves attending assemblies and other liturgies. Tutors also facilitate daily prayers with their classes. All teaching and pastoral support of the pupils is carried out in the light of the teaching of the Church.

La Sainte Union endorses the Camden NEU Fair Workload Charter.

The school’s policies and structures ensure that staff are well supported and that there is a tangible commitment to both the physical and mental wellbeing of all workers.

Leaders are committed to supporting new staff via effective induction programmes and consequently staff have a clear understanding of their role in the mission of the school. One member of staff said, ‘the school supports everyone in its mission to put the last first, and promote social mobility’.
