Art
At La Sainte Union, we are dedicated to nurturing the artistic talents of our students.
We provide them with the tools, experiences and inspiration they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom as well as in their future creative endeavours.
Through lunchtime clubs, STEAM Days, taster sessions and visits to institutions such as the Science Museum and National Gallery, we expose our KS3 students to the world of Art. As students progress, they have the chance to delve deeper into their artistic interests. Throughout Key Stage 4 and 5, students benefit from enriching experiences such as gallery visits, guest lectures and workshops, especially through our partnership with the University of the Arts London Outreach Department and Biannual Artists in Residence. Additionally, former students often return to share their experiences and professional insights that inspire our students to pursue their artistic ambitions.
Our commitment to showcasing student talent culminates in our Open Studio Celebration, where GCSE and A Level artwork is exhibited. Consistently strong GCSE results reflect the success of our approach, with many students choosing to continue their Art studies at A Level and beyond.
