Another triumph for LSU Debating!

On Monday 27th June, students from La Sainte Union took part in the Summer Debating Championship at South Hampstead High School, against 24 other teams from schools across London.

After hours of intense and sometimes contentious debating, our KS3 team of Eliza G in year 8, Emma C in year 8 and Florence W in year 9 defeated a series of teams including Queen Elizabeth Boys’ School, Chiltern Academy, and Putney High School to be crowned champions of the junior section. This is the second time (out of two attempts) that Eliza, Emma and Florence have won the competition this year following their victory in the Autumn Championship!

Huge congratulations to them, and to our senior section team from year 10 of Louise-Anne DB, Hera S, Mathilde L and Zarin B for winning one round against very tough KS5 opposition!
