Camden Youth MP Election Results
Congratulations to Eden 12NHI who was elected as Camden’s Deputy Youth MP on 13th April 2016 after receiving 786 votes in a ballot in schools and colleges across Camden.
The candidates campaigned on issues ranging from improving education, work experience and job prospects to protecting the environment, fighting racism and animal cruelty and protecting youth services.
The Youth MP, and two Deputy Youth MPs, will have a two-year term and will act as a voice for Camden’s young people, seeking to put forward their opinions in local decision making, as well as representing the views and interests of local young people at regional and national level through the UK Youth Parliament (UKYP).
