Charity Christmas Lunch

Charity Christmas Lunch

On Thursday 7th December, our school hosted a very special Christmas lunch for 80 elderly local residents. Thanks to our new partnership with Highgate Newtown Community Partners, the meal was completely free of charge to our guests and was freshly cooked by our in-house team Harrison Catering Services and lovingly served by students and staff.

There was much festive cheer with Christmas music, crackers and even multigenerational dancing! Our guests were also treated to a performance from our sixth form choir and a game of bingo after dessert.

It was a joyous occasion for all.

I wish to send you and your entire school a note of tremendous appreciation for the excellent Christmas Lunch and spectacular event hosted at your venue. Your staff and most specifically the school students from the youngest to the oldest demonstrated their outreach capabilities with community spirit of compassion and care for the much older generation. It was a pleasure talking to a group of your students that joined our table. It was interesting to discuss their careers opportunities and visions ahead.

I live locally off York Rise and note constantly the very well behaved and disciplined students easily recognised in their uniforms. They bring credit to their school.
