Girls in STEM

On the 8th of February, a group of year 10 and 11 Design Technology students joined other female pupils from Camden secondary schools for a construction and design event at King's Cross Construction Skills Centre to mark National Apprenticeship Week. The girls enjoyed workshops led by various architectural and construction companies and got to grips with bridge building, workspace modelling, city planning and virtual reality architecture. The students worked in teams and had the opportunity to talk to experts in the construction profession.
