International School Award 2014-2017
La Sainte Union has been accredited with this prestigious award by the British Council.
The International School Award is a badge of honour for schools that do outstanding work in international education, fostering an international dimension in its curriculum so that young people gain the cultural understanding and skills they need to live and work as global citizens.
LSU’s journey towards the full ISA has featured the following:
¨ Continued partnerships with sister schools in Tanzania
¨ A trip to Uganda for our Sixth Form students and staff to support the building and running of a school in Ntinkalo.
¨ A visit for Year 9 students to a local Synagogue to meet Holocaust survivors and their descendants.
¨ A ‘Women of the World’ (WOW) festival organised by the school’s Feminist Society.
¨ An International Evening, which sought to showcase our school’s wonderful blend of cultures.
¨ The school’s hosting of the annual Camden Refugee Achievement Awards Ceremony.
