Philanthropy and Community
We are committed to developing socially responsible students who understand the importance of giving back to their community.
Through charity, volunteering and links with other schools and organisations, we inspire students to make a positive impact on the world around them and reinforce the values of kindness, empathy, respect, integrity and responsibility.
Examples include:
- Fundraising efforts such as bake sales and events such as World Book Day, encouraging students to raise money for causes they care about.
- Initiatives such as the NHS Cadets Youth Volunteering Programme and St John’s Ambulance Training develop students’ practical skills and offer community service experience.
- KS4 and Sixth Form students mentor their younger peers. Our Sixth Formers also tutor EAL students through the Young Interpreters Scheme.
- Our alumni network is actively involved in supporting our current students and the wider community through mentorship and volunteer opportunities.
