Programme for Primary Schools

Every Spring and Summer terms, we run an extensive Primary Liaison Programme which primary schools can sign up to. Each session lasts up to one hour and can accommodate up to 25-30 pupils from Years 4-6.

Examples of previous workshops have included:

• Classics and Latin: Myths and Monsters immersive day in ancient Greek costume
• Design Technology: Applied confectionary design – designing and decorating edible or non-edible objects
• Design Technology and Maths: Forces of Nature – a fun maths and DT workshop exploring sustainability
• Drama: Bringing the forest to the classroom – an exploration of A Midsummer Night’s Dream
• Drama and Music: an invite to the musical dress rehearsal
• English: The power of stories – putting a sting in the “tale”
• French: Say fromage! A snapshot in language learning
• History: World War Two – amazing facts you didn’t know
• Maths: Deepen your knowledge – problem solving in mathematics
• Philosophy: A practical introduction to philosophy
• Spanish: No siesta, just fiesta! A Spanish language adventure
