Testimonials

From Parents

La Sainte Union Catholic Secondary is a lovely school. My daughter started year 7 in September and has settled in beautifully. We both felt the warmth and welcoming atmosphere as soon as we arrived at the school.

The teachers have been kind, caring and have helped my daughter settle in well through the primary to secondary transition.

She loves going to school and has made new friendships.

The school has exceeded with the number of clubs offered to pupils. This is from the free breakfast club to after school as well as half term activities. They have also started a Saturday homework club which my daughter is very much enjoying.

I would describe La Sainte Union as a community and would like to thank SLT, teachers and support staff for all their hard work and making sure LSU is a warm and happy place for all the students.

I’d like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support and teaching my daughter received last year. The dedication of your staff, particularly in supporting her growth in maths, made a noticeable difference.

Her summer term report showed a remarkable improvement in her math grades, which was truly encouraging to see. By the end of Year 8, we were thrilled with her progress, and it has reassured our confidence in her potential to excel in the subject.

The nurturing and inspiring environment at La Sainte Union has clearly played an important role in her development. We’re immensely grateful for the time, patience, and encouragement she’s received from the dedicated maths staff members. We want to personally thank them for fostering such a positive space for learning and growth.

Wishing the school continued success in shaping students' futures. We’re proud to be part of the LSU community.

My daughter has thrived in this school, from a shy year 7, to a tall confident year 8 girl that wants to learn and with supportive staff that push her to succeed and achieve at all times. The trips are engaging and I love the fact they push girls to be brave and bold with their learning and plan ahead about their future career goals.

From visitors and the public

At La Sainte Union, we are proud of the way our students have embodied our values of service and respect. Members of the public and visitors often tell us how well our students conduct themselves on site and on school trips. Here are just some of the examples below.

Well behaved school groups who were really into the show – polite, taking notes and invested.

It was an absolute pleasure. It was so nice to meet your students: they were so polite, courteous and engaged, they really are one of my favourite school groups I have had. Please do tell them that!
