At La Sainte Union, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom.
Our carefully curated educational trips and visits, both within the UK and abroad, are designed to bring the curriculum to life whilst providing students with unparalleled opportunities to explore new environments, experience diverse cultures and build lifelong memories.
In recent years, they have visited NASA HQ in Florida, the large hadron collider at CERN in Switzerland, Wall Street in New York, Berlin, Paris, Greece and many more.
Closer to home, we take advantage of the wealth of treasures on our doorstep. Science students visit the Science Museum, the Royal Observatory, the Cracking Crick Show at the Francis Crick Institute, Kew Gardens whilst Classicists visit the British Museum, Temple of Mithras and prestigious universities including Warwick, UCL and King’s College. The Drama Department organise an impressive 12 trips every academic year, taking students to see various performances at the Donmar Warehouse or West End whilst the Art Department take students to an array of museums and galleries, including the National Gallery, Hayward Gallery and Tate Modern.
Geographers have investigated the coastal areas of Norfolk as well as urban Stratford for their fieldwork. Health and Social Care students have ventured to the Old Operating Theatre Museum and Herb Garret whilst those studying a Social Science have been seen in the Royal Courts of Justice, at an Institute of Education conferences, the Into Film Festival or at a West End Theatre show such as To Kill a Mockingbird and Death of England.
