Exceptional A Level results open doors to bright and bold futures
We are delighted to announce yet another year of exceptional A Level results at La Sainte Union, further solidifying our reputation for academic excellence and our commitment to nurturing well-rounded, successful students.
93% of students on roll achieved A*-E grades of which 69% secured A*-C, 47% A*-B, 19% A*-A and 7% A*, marking an increase from both 2019 and 2023 results. There were strong performances across a range of subjects, particularly:
- Religious Education - 100% A*-C
- Drama - 100% A*-C and 82% A*-B
- Art - 89% A*-C and 67% A*-B
- Further Maths - 88% A*-C and 71% A*-B
- Classical Civilisation - 88% A*-C
- English Literature - 82% A*-C
- History - 82% A*-C and 64% A*-B
- Spanish - 82% A*-C and 55% A*-B
- Sociology - 74% A*-C
- Politics - 73% A*-C
- Economics - 72% A*-C and 56% A*-B.
Beyond the collective success mentioned, we are also very proud of our students’ individual achievements. Each grade reflects a personal story of hard work, commitment and perseverance.
- Highflier Anna Marie achieved an impressive A*A*A* in Psychology, English Literature and Sociology. She is excited to continue her Psychology studies at King’s College London, with hopes of pursuing a career as a psychological wellbeing practitioner.
- Niamh has thrived at La Sainte Union, and we are very proud to see her confirm her place at the prestigious University of Oxford, a testament to her academic prowess. She will read Law after obtaining a phenomenal A*A*A in Chemistry, Economics and Maths.
- High achiever Cosima is looking forward to taking a gap year before applying to study Chemistry at university. With an astonishing set of A*A*A* grades in Chemistry, Maths and Spanish, we know she has a bright future ahead.
- Rose is certainly a bright spark, having achieved a remarkable A*A*A* in Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science. She is excited to start her next chapter at the University of Warwick to study Computer Science.
- Jessica’s extraordinary results of A*A*A* in Biology, Maths and Chemistry have paved the way for her acceptance at King’s College London to study Dentistry. She credits her time at La Sainte Union, particularly the fantastic careers department.
- Isobel is grateful to her incredible teachers here at La Sainte Union who have helped her to secure an exceptional A*A*A in History, Politics and English. She is off to the University of Sheffield to read English and History in September.
- Maegan not only attained an impressive A*AA in her A Level Business Studies, Media Studies and Art, but also an A in her Extended Project Qualification. She is delighted to accept her place at King’s College London to read Culture, Media and Creative Industries.
- Marianne ambition to become an A&E Nurse is now within reach after she achieved D*DD in BTEC Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care and secured a place to study Adult Nursing at City, University of London.
- Deborah was delighted to open her results to reveal she secured D*DD in her BTEC Extended Diploma in Business, as well as a place at Queen Mary University of London to study Business Management.

As a proud member of the LaSWAP Sixth Form Consortium, the largest and longest-established consortium in Camden, our students benefit from a diverse and irresistible curriculum, tailored support, an award-winning careers programme and a wealth of super-curricular opportunities, ensuring they leave us not only with excellent grades but also with the skills, experiences and confidence needed to thrive in the future.
The majority of students are progressing to higher education, including prestigious universities such as Oxford and other Russell Group institutions while others are embarking on exciting apprenticeships and career placements.
